In other news, Spiral, one of the plays from our Young Playwrights Showcase, has been revised by its playwright Isis Rivenbark and produced in its new, longer format titled Spiraling at Mountain View high school in a one-night showcase. I was lucky enough to attend, and Isis' changes to the plot and dialogue brought new and interesting questions into the fray of Spiraled. These effectively tackled its theme of dealing with grief and also allowed it to become an analogy for Isis' own personal struggles, which I found touching. Isis, we couldn't be prouder: stories like Spiraled are exactly what our community needs to hear, and what our company was created to assist in telling.
