CAST
Sydney Johnson, she/her (Ensemble) is currently a senior at Ironwood Ridge High School. She has been involved in theatre since 2016 and has performed with CYT Tucson, the Inner Voice Studio, as well as multiple productions with her school. Some of Sydney’s favorite roles include Fate Three in HADESTOWN, Lion in THE WIZARD OF OZ, and Mother Abbess in THE SOUND OF MUSIC. In the future, she plans to pursue a BFA in musical theatre.
Grace Keane (Ensemble) has worked with numerous theater companies across Tucson, including Live Theatre Workshop, Arts Express, and Troubadour Theatre. Some of her favorite roles include Cady in MEAN GIRLS, Gwendolen in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST, and Eurydice in EURYDICE. Most recently, Grace completed a musical theatre intensive at The Open Jar Institute in New York City, where she trained with industry professionals. She is deeply grateful to her friends and family for their unwavering love and support.
Jaydin Rhodes (Ensemble) is performing in his FIRST musical with a theatre company, and is STOKED to work with this star-studded cast. He loved playing Ugly in HONK! and Prince Dauntless in ONCE UPON A MATTRESS at his high school. He was also a nominee at the 2024 and 2025 MONTE AWARDS, where he won the Spirit Award in 2024. Noah Estep, he/him (Ensemble) is a dedicated young actor who has performed with Salpointe Catholic High School and Arts Express. His recent roles include a Worker in HADESTOWN: TEEN EDITION, Sam in PHANTOM OF THE SOAP OPERA, and Otho in BEETLEJUICE. He would like to thank his parents, his friends, and especially his friend Adele for always supporting him and cheering him on.
Sofia Borras, she/her (Evangeline Sheppard) is an incoming freshman at Pepperdine University in California. She is thrilled to be a part of this production playing the role of Evangeline Sheppard. She has previously performed in HADESTOWN as Persephone and SIX as Katherine Howard. Sofia would like to thank Kaitlin Bertenshaw and her parents for always supporting her. She would also like to thank Jacob Toole for making this possible.
Chloe Harris, she/her (Belle Starr / Barsinger, Dance Captain) is a seventeen year old theater performer. A passionate and lifelong performer, she began her stage journey in kindergarten with the Tucson Girls Chorus, which sparked her deep love for musical theater. Chloe will be attending Rider University in the fall to pursue a B.F.A. in Musical Theater. Chloe is a two-time Jimmy Awards nominee, having first attended as a freshman in 2022, returning again in 2025 as a senior. She was also recognized at the International Thespian Festival with six prestigious Thespy Awards in Solo Musical, Duet Musical, Duet Dance, Monologues, and Sound Design. In addition, she is a proud recipient of the Amy Bennett Foundation Scholarship. She thanks all who have supported her, and all who share in this beautiful world of theater with her! Holden Salica, he/him (Billy the Kid) is an incoming freshman at Point Park University working towards his BFA in Musical Theatre. This is his second show with the Rigby Theater Co. and is excited to work with this amazing company. Previous shows include HADESTOWN: TEEN EDITION (Orpheus), INTO THE WOODS (Baker), RIDE THE CYCLONE (Ricky Potts), and ALICE BY HEART (Alfred). Lucas Winstead (Jesse Sheppard) I am the age of 18 and just recently graduated from Cienega High School. I am excited to say that this is my first show with Rigby Theater Company. You may have seen me in Cienega’s production of HADESTOWN: TEEN EDITION in the ensemble and Hey Productions’ as Gleb. I am extremely grateful for this opportunity to play Jesse Sheppard and I would like to thank my friends and family for all the support they have given me. Madison Hill, she/her (Ensemble) is ecstatic to be a part of this production! A few of her theatre credits are Hadestown (Fate 1), Into the Woods (Cinderella), and Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey). Benjamin Koskiniemi, he/him (Ensemble) has been performing since his freshman year of high school. Some notable performances have been as Sam Carmichael in MAMMA MIA! Along with Judge Turpin in SWEENEY TODD. Ben was also a Nominee for the 2025 MONTE AWARDS held in Southern Arizona! A special thanks to Anisa, Alex, Mom, Dad, and Mr. Holt for all the support!
Sylas Smith, he/him (Mikey Tucker) is a 16 year old Junior at University High School. As a child, Sylas became infatuated with film and music and has been acting since 2017. Around town, Sylas has honed his craft in roles such as SpongeBob in SPONGEBOB THE MUSICAL, Tobias in SWEENEY TODD: SCHOOL EDITION, Mad Hatter in ALICE BY HEART, and Scarecrow in THE WIZARD OF OZ. He was also the recipient of Arts Express' 2025 Best Up and Coming Actor award. When he's not on the stage, you'll find Sylas playing guitar and piano, hanging out with Jacob Toole and friends, or watching movies at your local Cinemark. This year, Sylas plans to continue his studies of film and music while maintaining his academic vigor at UHS, and is incredibly excited for any and all new opportunities to come. He'd like to thank God, his family, and Kaitlin Bertenshaw for their endless support.
Xavier Campillo (Ensemble) DEATH DO US PART is Xavier’s first Rigby Theater show and he couldn’t be more excited. He has previously performed in HADESTOWN (Worker), THE THEORY OF RELATIVITY (Anthony), INTO THE WOODS (Steward) and many other roles. He wishes everyone to enjoy this awesome musical!
Larkyn Foster, she/her (Butch Cassidy / Connolly) has been doing theatre since before she can remember. She has always loved performing and started with her youth theater group, CYT, at 6 years old and never stopped, now moving on to teaching and other leadership positions. She has also performed with The Inner Voice Studio and Pima Community College, her last show being THE WEDDING SINGER at PCC where she played Linda. Some of her other favorite roles include James in JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH, Ellie Blake in FREAKY FRIDAY, Miss Hannigan in ANNIE, Janis in MEAN GIRLS, Alfred/White Rabbit and Caterpillar in ALICE BY HEART, and many more amazing roles she has been blessed with the opportunity to play. Julian Gutierrez-Ahumada, he/him (Sam Bass) Past credits include OLIVER! (Charlie Bates), RAGTIME (Newsboy), IN THE HEIGHTS (Ensemble/Dancer), JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT (Zebulun), FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (Ensemble/Bottle Dancer), and MATILDA (Michael Wormwood/Big Kid). He has also participated in various Arts Express Summer camps such as JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH JR. (James), FINDING NEMO JR. (Marlin), MADAGASCAR JR. (Maurice), and GREASE (Roger). Julian has been taking vocal lessons with Eric Ashley Schweitzer through Allegro School of Music for 5 years. He would like to thank his parents, family, and friends for supporting him through his musical journey.
Sadie Maddox (Eleanor Dumont / Ticketgirl, Assistant Choreographer) is 17 years old and an incoming senior at Salpointe Catholic High School. She is most proud of her recent roles as Anne Boleyn in SIX THE MUSICAL: TEEN EDITION and Ocean Rosenberg in RIDE THE CYCLONE with the Inner Voice Studio. Sadie is thrilled to now play Eleanor Dumont and hopes you thoroughly enjoy the show! :)
Ivan Medina, he/him (Jackson Ford) is so excited to be performing in DEATH DO US PART with such an amazing cast and crew! Appearing as the role of Jackson Ford, he has worked hard to bring to life the ways of the Old American Southwest in this show! This being his first Rigby Theater show, he has also taken part in various other companies' works such as, most recently, XANADU at Arts Express as the Male Swing and even Pima’s very own THE WEDDING SINGER as Robbie Hart. He would like to thank his amazing production team for helping bring this show to life, the wonderful and talented cast who make every day more worth the work and his wonderful family, friends and girlfriend who support him no matter the case. Sophia Castaneda (Lighting Designer, Technical Director) is super excited to be designing for Rigby Theater Co. once again, previously working on BRUISERS. They have quite a few credits as a lighting designer, including a Thespy award, and also enjoys time on stage, with previous performances in shows like HADESTOWN (Worker). Now going to NAU to pursue a degree in chemistry, Sophia would like to thank everyone who has supported them in their artistic endeavors, and they hope to perform or tech again soon!
Nathaniel Wiley, he/him (Stage Manager) has performed professionally with Live Theatre Workshop, Saguaro City Music Theatre, and Arizona Theatre Company. Selected credits include RANKED, A MUSICAL ( John Carter), MARY POPPINS (George Banks), DEPUTY JAN (Deputy Jan), and THE MUSIC MAN (Winthrop Paroo). He was recently honored as a finalist at the 2025 MONTE AWARDS. Nate would like to thank Jacob, Gavin, Ben, and the entire cast, creative, and crew from the Rigby Theater Company for bringing this show to life and for giving him the opportunity to work with this talented group of people.
Gavin Evanson, he/him (Choreographer, Fight Choreographer) is an actor, choreographer, director, and techie from Tucson. He made his Broadway debut at the 2025 JIMMY AWARDS where he won that year's Rising Star Award. In addition, he has won many scholarships and awards for his performance merit, including a Thespy Award at the International Thespian Festival. Gavin is a rising freshman at Rider University and will pursue a B.F.A in Musical Theatre. He has been involved in over 40 productions with several theaters across his 4 year career. This is Gavin's second time working with the Rigby Theater Company, he previously directed and choreographed BRUISERS: A SONG CYCLE FOR THE NEWLY KNOWN. Joleen Byrd (Costume Designer) has most recently featured as the costume designer for Inner Voice Studio's SIX: THE MUSICAL (TEEN EDITION). They have also helped costumed and performed in HADESTOWN: TEEN EDITION and ONCE UPON A MATTRESS for Cienega High School. You may also recognize Joleen for writing DRACULA GOES TO FLORIDA for Live Theatre Workshop's 2025 Young Playwright Competition, and TAXES IN SPACE! for the Rigby Theater Company's BRUISERS. Ben Teller, he/him (Composer, Music Director, Audio Engineer) is a recent graduate from Salpointe Catholic, where he performed as many fantastic roles including the Narrator/Mysterious Man in INTO THE WOODS and Isaac Jaggard in THE BOOK OF WILL, designed lighting for shows such as THE BRAVE KNIGHT, SIR LANCELOT, and accompanied a production of Stories that Soar. His piano credits include playing for RIDE THE CYCLONE and THE THEORY OF RELATIVITY, and being invited to perform classically at Carnegie Hall. As the composer of both this show and Bruisers, he hopes to continue writing for theater next year at Lawrence University, where he will study Piano Performance and Math.

Ellie Henry (Costume Assistant) has greatly enjoyed getting to know and working with these amazing people. You may have seen Ellie's designs in other shows such as HADESTOWN: TEEN EDITION, ONCE UPON A MATTRESS, SOMETHING ROTTEN, and ELSEWHERE (Cienega High School). She would like to thank the cast and crew for being so nice and welcoming.
Violette Burge (Deck Crew) has performed in a total of 13 plays and musicals across Tucson. Some of her notable performances are Jaffar in ALADDIN, Morticia Addams in THE ADDAMS FAMILY, King Triton/Chef Louis in THE LITTLE MERMAID, and Lina Lamont in SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN. Offstage she enjoys writing and is currently working on a full length play, THE EQUINOX. She will be attending Salpointe Catholic High School in the fall. Violette would like to thank her Mom, her CYT and Troubadour families, and The Rigby Theater Company for giving her this marvelous opportunity.
Emmalynn Whitney, she/her (Deck Crew) has professionally worked with Live Theatre Workshop as a Sound Designer as well as Assistant Stage Manager. She also has much experience backstage due to being the Assistant Stage Manager for Empire High School the last two years and getting to have the opportunity to try all the different roles of Technical Theatre. She cannot wait to work with all the talented and extraordinary people who are a part of this production and hopes that everyone enjoys the show!
Quinn Cronenberg (Flyline Operator) has been operating flyrail for over a year, in both large and small venues. They have been in several shows and roles, from assistant stage manager to flyrail operator, from deck crew to props creation. They are devoted to technical theater and have plans to continue after high school. They would like to thank their stage management teacher, Mr. Ivan Hill, their theater teachers, Mr. Martinez and TK, and their family for being so supportive.
Emma Goldman (Mic Wrangler) is a 17 year old senior at Ironwood Ridge High School. She has been doing technical theater since her freshman year in high school and has worked in many positions, including prop hand, sound designer/mixer, and mic wrangler. Some of her favorite shows to work on have been ALICE BY HEART, ANYTHING GOES, HADESTOWN: TEEN EDITION, and SIX: TEEN EDITION. In her free time, Emma enjoys hanging out with friends, playing guitar, photography, and drawing. Emma is super excited to have the opportunity to work on this show!
Grace Christian, she/her (Makeup Assistant) has performed in six shows, two of which produced by Rigby Theater Company. She has performed in SIX as Anne of Cleves and in HADESTOWN as a Worker. Grace would like to thank her father for always being there to support her and drive her to and from rehearsals.
Danae Moreno (Assistant Stage Manager) strives to do as much as she can in the behind the scenes of theatre and make the stage come to life. She loves to see amazing shows come together from beginning to end. Danae thanks all her friends that help bring the theater world out.
Braeley McIntire, they/them (Deck Crew) is a junior at Empire High School. They have worked on multiple shows in the past such as costumes for one of the shows at Live Theatre Workshop’s YOUNG PLAYWRIGHTS this past year, makeup crew for THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW, run crew for MIDSUMMER HIGH SCHOOL, and many others. Elizabeth Smith (Sound Operator) has worked multiple positions throughout theater. She has worked on positions such as lighting for DISASTER, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS and as assistant stage manager for productions like LEGALLY BLONDE and INTO THE WOODS. Britten Johnston (Sound Board Operator) has designed and operated sound systems on productions such as DISASTER, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, and ALL IN THE TIMING. He currently attends ASU for Aeronautical Management Technology-Professional Flight, and has loved continuing his hobby of theatrical sound operation by helping the amazing people at the Rigby Theater Company!
Yareli Reza (Assistant Stage Manager) is a 16-year-old senior at Salpointe High School with a deep passion for theatre both on and off the stage. Over the past three years, she has worked in various technical roles including backstage tech, costumes, makeup, mic wrangler, and assistant stage manager. Most recently, Yareli Reza served as assistant stage manager for Salpointe’s state-winning production of HADESTOWN, and performed on Salpointe's Stories That Soar High Tour! She is excited to continue her journey in theatre and look forward to future opportunities in both technical and performance roles. Yareli wants to thank her past theatre directors, Mrs. Quintero and Mrs. Milne, and a final thanks to her mom who has fully supported her growing love and commitment to all of her theatre endeavors the last 3 years.
BAND
Estevan Lopez, he/him (Bass) is a current junior grade student at Salpointe Catholic High School, performing bass in the Maroon and Gold Jazz Band as well as the Lancer String Orchestra. Playing since middle school in Sahuarita Middle School. He has received the highly coveted Leonard Bernstein award during his sophomore year. The play DEATH DO US PART will be his latest performance. Special thanks to Ben Teller for arranging the band full of Salpointe students and Alumni alike.
Daniel Valenzuela Estrada (Trumpet) is a trumpet player in South Tucson who has played at the Essentially Ellington competition in New York, Essentially Ellington regional competition in Las Vegas, and other jazz competitions surrounding Tucson, Phoenix, and Flagstaff. This is Daniel’s first time playing in a musical and would like to thank Ben Teller and Jacob Toole for this great opportunity.
